Got a Question?

Simply call us on 0115 981 8881. Your call will be treated in confidence. Alternatively use our contact form...

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing, so we can examine you properly and teach you some therapeutic exercises. During your physiotherapy treatment we may ask you to remove some of your clothes. This is so we can assess your condition correctly. If you don't feel comfortable doing so, that's absolutely fine, but please bring shorts, a T-shirt or vest to change into instead.

You are also more than welcome to bring a chaperone into your treatment session with you if desired. If you are unable to bring a chaperone with you, but you are still keen for one to be present, please make this known to the practice at your booking in. Then we can ensure that another member of staff attends the appointment with you, to act in your best interest.

Where can I park?

Parking is free at Rushcliffe Arena

Are your physiotherapists members of a professional body?

Yes, we're all members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (which used to be known as state registration).

How long are the appointments?

Appointments last for approximately 45 minutes, but this can vary slightly depending on your circumstances or on the insurance company you are with. This gives us time, on your first visit, to fully assess you and usually begin treatment. On your following visits, it allows us time to reassess and treat you.

How much does treatment cost?

£49 per 45-minute session.

Do you have waiting lists?

No. We may be able to see you on the day of your call and, if not, we'll usually be able to give you an appointment within a day or two, unless you have time restrictions of your own.

What should I wear for my treatment?

Please wear comfortable clothes so we can examine you properly and teach you some therapeutic exercises. To examine you properly, we may ask you to remove some of your clothes. If you don't feel comfortable doing so, that's absolutely fine, but please bring shorts and a T-shirt or vest to change into instead.

What happens if I have private health insurance?

You'll need to contact them to check their requirements. Most companies ask that you see your GP before coming to us, and they may specify a limit of cover or a particular time frame. Usually they will pay us direct on receipt of our invoice, or you can choose to pay us and claim the money back from them.

Do you treat NHS patients as well as private ones?

Yes, but only if referred directly by GPs within the Rushcliffe area under contract with Rushcliffe’s Clinical Commissioning Group.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

Patients can self refer or can be referred by their GP, consultant, Company doctor or insurance company. Some insurance companies may require a referral from your doctor before treatment can commence.

Can I bring a chaperone with me?

Yes, please feel free to bring a chaperone to your appointments. This is a legal requirement with patients under the age of 16 years of age.

What payment methods do you accept?

Unless your treatment is being funded by a private medical insurance company or via the NHS, then payment will be requested after each treatment session. We accept all major debit and credit cards, cash or cheque.

Dear PhysioNeeds West Bridgford patients

We hope you are all keeping safe and you and your families are managing okay in these very unprecedented times.

Following guidance issued by the Government on 20th March 2020, Rushcliffe Arena has temporarily closed due to COVID-19. Due to this our Physiotherapy clinic is also closed. However we are still providing patients with Video and Telephone Consultations to help with any injuries and issues. These are a great way to discuss your injury and get specific and tailored treatment (via home exercises) and valuable advice. Essential face to face treatment can take place at any of our other PhysioNeeds clinics as PhysioNeeds West Bridgford remains closed

We assure you that we have put enhanced measures in place to ensure the protection of both you the patient, our staff and the wider public. A full risk assessment of the working environment has been undertaken. We are following Public Health England COVID-19 infection prevention and control guidelines. We still encourage a 'Virtual First' approach with our Telephone and Video Consultations which patients have found very useful so far.

Please see both PDFs attached outlining our SCREENING-CLEANING-PROTECTING protocols and our Updated Patient Support Flowchart to help explain our current Physiotherapy service available to you. All patients MUST wear a mask. Here is a link to an easy DIY mask (YouTube)

COVID-19 SCREENING QUESTIONS: When booking a Face to Face appointment you will be asked to confirm that you or any member of your household IS NOT presenting, or HAS NOT presented with the following symptoms in the last 14 days:

  • a high temperature
  • a new persistent cough
  • a sore throat
  • new onset of headaches
  • loss of sense of smell or taste
  • feeling unwell in any way

If you answer YES to any of the above then you will not be able to be seen Face-to-Face but we can still discuss and treat your injury via Telephone/Video Consultations.

We have also been posting lots of videos on our Facebook page and YouTube channel (PhysioNeeds) so do check those out to try and stay as active as possible. We have also be putting top tips on our Facebook page to help with prevention/management of injuries. If you have any questions, please do contact the clinic.

Stay safe everyone!

From all the team at PhysioNeeds
